Herbert James Omsberg, 90, of Cut Bank, a retired diesel mechanic for Glacier Motors and World War II veteran, passed away July 4, 2012 of natural causes at a local hospital.
Graveside Services will be held Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 2 pm at Crown Hill Cemetery with a celebration of life to follow at the Cut Bank Moose Lodge at 3 pm. Cremation has taken place under the direction of O’Connor Funeral Home.
Herbert is survived by his sons, Alan Omsberg of Cut Bank, Norman (Patty) Omsberg and Lloyd (Helene) Omsberg both of TX; daughters, Eloise Newman and Sheila “Sally” Baney both of Cut Bank, and Carla (Lee) McCauley of TX.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Eunice (Wibey) Omsberg; parents, Christian “John” and Caroline Omsberg; brothers, Walter, Dale (Pat), John (Margaret), Kenneth (Lillian), Arnold, and Richard; sisters, Bernice “Margie” McGlothlic, and May Luchi; son-in-laws, John Henry Owne and Harold Baney.
