Daryle Dean White, 89, of Great Falls, passed away on April 22, 2025.
Daryle was born on September 21, 1935, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Edward Pearson Jr and Hazel (Kitchen) White. He had three siblings and attended schools in Mead, Washington. He worked as a steel worker with Kaiser Aluminum while he lived in Spokane, Washington. He was a janitor for the Soldotna school system while he lived in Soldotna, Alaska and a member of the Russian Orthodox Church there as well. He was a tour guide of the church since it was the oldest church in Soldotna.
He enjoyed anything that had to do with history, especially US Western history. He was also a collector from that era as well. He was a voracious reader of multiple genres and various subjects. He was a self-taught guitarist and played in a country western band while he lived in Spokane.
Daryle is survived by his son, Oscar Scholl; daughters, Jodene Antonson and Rachel Reyes; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother; father; stepfather; brothers, Edward and Robert; and sister, Jean.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in Peone Prairie Cemetery in Mead, Washington.
