Donavon Dale Moldenhauer age 80, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2018. Donavon was born June 26, 1937 in Kulm, North Dakota to Lucas and Hulda (Dickhoff) Moldenhauer. He married Charlotte Kunz March 10, 1963 at the Eureka, South Dakota Methodists Church. Donavon’s job took them to Great Falls, Mt. where they made their home. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and was always proud of his large vegetable gardens. Donavon was a veteran of the US Army. After that he enjoyed his job of delivering farm equipment for John Deer and Co. He later went on to work and retire from Meadowgold Dairy processing plant. He is survived by his wife Charlotte Moldenhauer; son Scott (Kelly) Moldenhauer; daughter Melissa (Keith) Stokes; grandchildren Kyla (Couri) Childs, Madison Moldenhauer, and Rylan Moldenhauer; great grandchildren Camden and Aspyn Childs; brothers Jerry, LaMont, Dwight, and Curtis; sisters Fern, Gloria, Jacqueline, and Grace; and extended Kunz family. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Vernon, Myron, and Dennis; and sisters Angela, Mavis, Deborah, and Phyllis. A private burial has taken place and a family gathering will be planned later. Memorial contributions may be made to the Peace Hospice of Great Falls, MT.
