Donna Mae Meadows passed on August 24, 2026, in Great Falls, Montana.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at Stanford Cemetery in Stanford, Montana.
She was born on January 6, 1934, to Donald R. and Clara L. Meadows in Santa Rosa, California. She grew up mostly in Santa Rosa and Richmond, California. She dearly loved her Grandma Young. She is survived by her sisters, Lucille Stabler and Joanne Meadows.
She married Louis G. Loader and had four children, Irene first, then Louis, Debbie, and Karol. During this time, she lived mainly on the coast of California, south of San Francisco. In the mid 1980’s she retired to Montana. She enjoyed the outdoors and nature. She hunted and fished. She divorced and moved to Stanford, Montana, where she lived until she moved to Great Falls to a retirement home.
Donna is survived by her children, Irene Lehr (Alan), Louis G. Loader Jr., Debra Del Dotto, and Karol L. Meginness (Jeffrey who she loved to call Jefferee!). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Diana, Leslie, Louis III, Charity, Kyle, Katherine, Christopher, and Jenny; numerous great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Jeffrey L. Meginness Jr.
