Edward Allen Murphy

Edward Allen Murphy, 68, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2026, leaving a huge void in all of our lives.

He was born in Great Falls, Montana on April 23, 1958. He attended St. Mary's Catholic School, Largent, Paris Gibson Junior High, Great Falls High School, and ended with the College of Great Falls.

Ed worked for the College of Great Falls as a custodian for several years before moving to the Great Falls Public Schools as a custodian which is where he retired from.

He was always a mischievous and fun guy. He was very witty and loved to make people laugh. He was a computer geek and loved working on them. He was a diehard New Orleans Saints fan. When asked why the Saints his response was "as a kid everyone was picking teams and he just picked the Saints." He loved bowling and was a very good bowler. He loved the family get togethers when we all went bowling. He loved hanging with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.

He was welcomed into heaven by his mom and dad, Edward and Dolores Murphy; brothers, Dennis and Tim Murphy; and sister, Chauna Bressler. He is survived by his sister, Kelly (Dana) Audet; nephews, Christopher Murphy and Matthew Orrantia; and nieces, Jamie Williams, Michelle Fleming, and Jennifer Fleming.

We will miss you Ed, rest in peace.
