Edwin R. Maslowski, 77, a longtime Great Falls resident, passed away Friday, September 12, 2014 from complications from a stroke. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 2 pm at Hillcrest Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Edwin was born June 23, 1937 to John and Francis Maslowski in Sidney. He grew up in Miles City where he met his future wife, Maxine C. Hubbard. They later moved to Billings where he was employed by Nalley’s before moving to Great Falls. Once here, he went to work for Dubois Chemicals, then Gamble Robinson, as a salesman. From there he went to work for Meats Unlimited before buying a semi-truck and starting his own company; Maslowski Trucking Company. Edwin is survived by his sons, Mike (Wendy) Maslowski, Steve (Laurie) Maslowski, and Jim (Lindsey) Maslowski; granddaughters Sarah and Nichole; sister Marge Devitt of San Jose, Ca; niece Debbie; nephews Bobbie, Danny, and Kenny; and his faithful companion, his golden retriever, Sadie. He was preceded in death by his father, John; mother Francis; and loving wife Maxine.
