Eric Paul Heffelfinger

Eric Paul Heffelfinger, 64, of Great Falls and Maricopa, AZ, passed away on October 30, 2021. A funeral liturgy will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. An inurnment will follow the service at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Eric was born in Great Falls, MT on January 20, 1957, to Cecilia and John Heffelfinger. He graduated from Charles M. Russell High School (CMR) in Great Falls and went on to continue his education at the vocational school in Helena, MT. He married Elaine Jones on November 12, 1977, and together they had three children. They have been married for almost 44 years. A few years after his marriage, he joined the ironworkers and worked as an ironworker until his retirement at age 55. Even though his work took him far from home at times, his dedication to his family never ceased. He enjoyed walking, bike riding, volunteering, fishing, and most of all, spending time with his family. Eric is survived by his wife, Elaine; daughter, Katie (Troy) Arias; sons, Paul and Adam; sister, Jean (Harold) Wahl; and brother, Nick. He was preceded in death by his brother, John and parents, John and Cecilia.
