Fred Stanley Wolfe, Jr.

Fred Stanley Wolfe, Jr., 82, of Great Falls, a retired electronics technician, who enjoyed wood working, fixing old radios, camping and spending time with his family, died of natural causes Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at a local hospital. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at 11:00 am at O’Connor Memorial Chapel. Cremation has taken place under the direction of O’Conner Funeral Home. Fred was born November 25, 1930 to Fred and Grace Wolfe in Watsonville, CA. He attended school in California and joined the Air Force in 1950. After serving for four years, Fred was honorably discharged. He married the love of his life, Maxine Goodell, in 1956. Fred served as Exalted Ruler of Elks Lodge 214 in 1975. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Maxine Wolfe of Great Falls; daughter Jennifer (Dean) Pearson of Fairfield; sons Michael (Jennifer) Wolfe of Great Falls and Mark Wolfe of Twin Falls, ID; sister Pat Houpt of Oroville, WA; five grandchildren, Amanda, Destiny, Taylor, JayLynn, and Langdon; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
