Lawrence Lee Howell

Lawrence L. Howell, 85, of Great Falls, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023.

He was born on July 10, 1937, in Havre, Montana to Riley and Flossie (Carson) Howell. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the US Army where he learned his trade as an automotive mechanic. His work experience varied over the years. He was an auto mechanic, appliance repairman, and videographer.

Lawrence volunteered at the local soup kitchens whenever he was able. He collected a myriad of coins and cookie jars. He learned leather work and loved fishing.

He is survived by his daughter, Angela (John) Scott, sons, Mark and Kevin Howell; and seven grandchildren, Zane and Chase Howell, Carson and Connor Scott, Jaedyn Howell, Cody Scott, and Addison Howell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Riley and Flossie; seven sisters; four brothers; and grandson, Connor Scott.
