Lois M Riddle

Lois Marie Riddle, 73, of Great Falls passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015 at a local care facility. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Services will take place under the direction of O’Connor Funeral Home. During her life she touched many lives. She did remarkably well with the gifts she had been given. Her faith in God was constant and it gave her strength and peace. Lois was born July 8, 1941 in Shelby. She lived there until 1972 when she moved to Great Falls following her parents’ deaths. She lived in Great Falls for the rest of her life except for a short time when she lived in Helena. In Great Falls, she was employed at Easter Seals and maintained her own apartment through Independent Living for many years. In 2005 she moved into a Seniors Group Home and in 2010 into the Missouri River Center. Lois loved to do many kinds of crafts. She was often seen crocheting afghans, pot holders, and especially her scrubbies. She loved to play Bingo. In her earlier years, she did a great deal of walking all over Great Falls. She liked to be helpful to people, and she loved to give flowers and gifts. Lois is survived by her sister, Joan (Lowell) Anderson of Lakewood, WA; nephews Bret (Cheri) Anderson of Helena, and Darin Anderson of Kent, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Laura Riddle. She will be missed by family and friends. Lois is now free from all life’s concerns.
