Lorrie A (Tabaracci) Carrette, 69, of Great Falls, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday September 11, 2014 surrounded by loved ones. Lorrie was born July 11, 1945 in Leigh-on-sea England to Emil and Margaret Tabaracci. She grew up in Black Eagle, graduating from Great Falls High School in 1963. Lorrie worked varied career fields including Benefis in both the patient business services, and account departments, the Cascade County Sheriff’s office working her way from clerk to deputy sheriff and as a head bailiff at the Missoula County Courthouse where upon retiring in 2007, Lorrie and her husband Lou returned to Great Falls. She married Robert Guckeen in 1968, they later divorced. On May 14, 1977 she married the love of her life Louis Carrette and they were able to share 37 years together. Lorrie especially enjoyed watching westerns and game shows, attending sporting events, traveling, crafting and most of all spending time with her loved ones. Lorrie is survived by her devoted husband Louis Carrette of Great Falls; daughter Stacie (Jerry) Gerard of Great Falls; son Jason Guckeen of Endeaver WI; step daughters Cindy (Rick) Shaw of Great Falls, Renee (John) Duncan of Silver Springs, NV, Terri (Dan) Turner of Carson City, NV, Keely (Gordon) Azure of Browning; sisters Charlene Tabaracci and Marlene (Jeff) Wohler of Black Eagle; grandchildren Bridger and Bailey; step grandchildren Jessie, Josh, Krissy, Lana, Mathew, Stephanie, Shanna, Floyd, Michelle, Louis, Jacqueline; 25 step great grandchildren and 2 step great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. At her request, a private family service will be held.
