Marge was born to Barbara and Matthias Burckhard on March 26, 1933. She passed peacefully on August 19, 2026.
A vigil will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at O’Connor Memorial Chapel. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at Immaculate Heart of Mary in Black Eagle.
Marge graduated from Great Falls High School in 1952. She married Samuel Mears on July 23, 1953. They had nine children; 42 grandkids; and 73 great-grandkids and counting!
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam; daughters, Judy Durdan and Cheryl Mears; and grandson, Sammy Kolve.
Marge will be missed by all that knew her.
