She graduated from Great Falls High School and went on to receive her bachelor’s in elementary education from the University of Montana. While in college, she was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. She was a kindergarten teacher with Great Falls Public Schools. She decided to retire early and enjoy her retirement. Mary met her husband, Gary Wojtowick, at the University of Montana where they were both attending college. They were married in 1962 and together they had three daughters.

She loved reading, playing the piano, and spending time with her family. Mary was part of the AX PEO sisterhood chapter. She also volunteered as the housing coordinator for the Great Falls Dodgers and Voyagers.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Lori (Evan) Yurko of Great Falls and Linda Wojtowick of Portland, OR; one grandchild, Owen (Nicole) Yurko of Dillon; and four great-grandchildren, Ralston, Rhodes, Ingram, and Warner Yurko of Dillon. Her great-grandchildren, who called her grandma-great, were the lights of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Viola; husband, Gary; and daughter, Pamela Ann Wojtowick.

The family would like to express their love and gratitude to Dr. Brice Addison, Dr. Kyra Carpenter, Mary Gray and all the fabulous staff who took care of her during her stay at Benefis Eastview Senior Care Center. You have all become members of our family. Thank you for loving Mary Lynn.
