Michael “Mike” Eric Reehl, 57, of Great Falls, MT passed away on the 28th of September, 2018 in his home. Mike was born to Fredrick and Charlene Reehl in Great Falls on December 8th of 1960. He attended school in Great Falls, graduating from CMR in 1979. Mike excelled in school, but took a special interest in the arts. His love of art was present throughout his life. He later continued his education in the areas of business administration, industrial design, and internet technologies. Mike married Cristy Hagnes in December of 1981, and they had three daughters. They raised their family in Great Falls, and later spent a number of years living in Cascade. Mike very much enjoyed small town life, spending time with his grandchildren, and socializing with friends and neighbors. Mike was a man of many talents. He worked in a variety of trades throughout his life including electronics, lumber supply, computer software engineering, he owned and operated a metal art and fabrication business, and was a senior mechanic and maintenance engineer. He was always eager to lend his skilled hand, whether it be fixing a lawn mower, welding repairs, or trouble shooting a computer problem. Mike was a lifelong lover of the outdoors. He spent many summers at his family cabin in Dearborn, MT throughout his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, exploring, and sitting around the campfire, and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed music, traveling, learning new languages, was an avid reader, and an animal lover.Mike took great pleasure in sharing his knowledge and skills with anyone interested in learning. Mike is preceded in death by his parents Fredrick and Charlene Reehl, his daughter Abra Reehl, and granddaughter Charlie Daniels, all of Great Falls. He is survived by his children Angele and Josh Christensen, and Alixann Reehl of Great Falls, MT, his brother Marc Reehl of Helena, MT, and his sister Melanie Carlson of Fergus Falls, MN. Mike will be sorely missed by his four grandchildren, nieces and nephews, family, friends, and anyone who had the pleasure of crossing his path. Cremation is being handled by O’Conner funeral home, and a celebration of life will be held in December of 2018 in Great Falls. Details about the celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
