Mildred Lammi

Mildred J “Millie” Lammi passed away peacefully on September 1, 2014 in Benifis Hospital. Services will be held on Tuesday, September 9th at 11:00 am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 201 44th Street South. O’Connor Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Millie was born in Augusta, MT on January 24, 1922. She was one of five children born to Edward and Ida Reed Martin. She went to school in the Augusta and Choteau area. After working 16 years at the Columbus Hospital she went to work as a care giver at various assisted living facilities in the Great Falls area. This is where she met Edwin I Lammi of Highwood, MT. On October 10, 1969 they married. It was the first marriage for both. They spent winters in town and the rest of the year on the ranch and traveling. Millie will be sadly missed by her nephew, Lee Edwin Lahtinen; great niece Jenell M Stuebing; and great nephew Eric N Lahtinen, all of California She will be forever at peace in Heaven with her husband Edwin; parents Edward S. and Ida Martin; siblings Bernard, David, Dorothy, and Evelyn; and nephew Leonard E Lahtinen.
