Ralph Ernest Olson

Ralph Ernest Olson of Great Falls passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021. Per his request, no services are being planned. There will be a private graveside service at a later date. Cremation has taken place under the direction of O’Connor Funeral Home. Ralph was the 2nd youngest to 7 siblings born to Olaf and Julia Olson on January 2, 1922, in Chinook, Montana. He graduated high school and went on to work for the Anaconda Copper Mining Company as a personnel manager until his retirement. He married Irene Jazovnik on June 13, 1947, sharing 68 years of marriage until her passing on November 23, 2015. Ralph is survived by twin sons, Dennis (Emma) and David (Polly) Olson; daughter, Linda Linghar, all of Great Falls; 10 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Gerald Olson; 2 brothers; 4 sisters; a great-granddaughter; and his loving wife, Irene.
