Rose Okerson, 58, of Great Falls, passed away on January 14, 2020. The family is planning a service on February 1, 2020, at the Black Eagle Community Center at 1:00 p.m. Rose was born on October 14, 1961, in Deer Lodge, MT, one of twin daughters born to Robert and Mary Berg. Rose was baptized catholic and attended CCD classes while growing up in Butte. After attending high school, her son, Scott Okerson was born. She later moved to California where she met and married Bill Okerson. They later moved to Great Falls. Rose worked as a cna and professional cleaning lady. She belonged to the Altered Classic Car Club and enjoyed poker runs, car shows and events. Rose loved music, dancing, playing a $5, and loved the outdoors. Rosie had many hurdles in her life, but she could jump every one.She was a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She is celebrated by her family and friends who will miss her dearly. Rosie leaves behind her mother, Mary Berg of Walkerville, MT; son, Scott (Jennifer) Okerson; grandchildren, Gracie and Frankie Okerson; brother, George Berg of Absarokee, MT; sister, Darlene Culp of Odessa, TX; and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Berg; sister, Robin Clark; and brothers, Larry and Bobby Berg.
