Thomas "TJ" James McGee

Jan 9, 1993 — Oct 13, 2026

Great Falls

Thomas James “TJ” McGee was born on January 9, 1993, to Gale McGee and Kendra McGee. He passed away at home on October 13, 2026.

TJ was a true rodeo bull-riding machine. He had a passion for the rodeo life and the grit it takes to climb on the back of a bull. He was strong-willed and lived a life that wasn't always easy. At times, TJ was misunderstood by those around him, but beneath it all was a man who loved his family dearly.

Life brought TJ his share of struggles, but those struggles were only one part of his story. He was more than the hardships he faced and more than what others may have seen on the surface. He was a father, a son, a brother, and an uncle whose love for his family remained an important part of who he was.

Above all, TJ leaves behind his son, Blake, who will forever be a part of his legacy. He is also survived by his siblings, Patrick McGee, Devin Wanek, and Magan Maynard-Smith; and his parents, Gale McGee and Kendra McGee.

TJ's life was his own, marked by both challenges and a spirit that could not easily be tamed. His memory will live on through his son, his family, and the memories they hold close. Though his time here has ended, he will not be forgotten by those who loved him.

A celebration of TJ’s life will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Crossroads Memorial Church in Great Falls, Montana. 1700 Market Place Dr, Great Falls, MT 59404

A separate celebration of life will be planned for family and friends in Colorado at a later date. Details regarding the Colorado gathering will be shared later this year.

Family and friends are invited to come together to remember TJ, share memories, and honor the life he lived.

Ride free, TJ. May the road ahead be wide open, the ground be steady, and the ride finally be easy.
